What we do

From paperwork
to departure, we handle it all.

  1. Documentation

We take care of all your papers. Medical exam, psychological test, and skill test results — ready in 24 hours. We help you sign your work contract and explain what to expect at the job site. We submit your documents to POEA and the embassy. Before you fly, you join the Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS). On travel day, our staff meets you at the airport. We tell your employer your flight details so they know when to expect you.

  2. Family Support

We do not disappear after you fly. When you arrive safely abroad, we tell your family. Letters and small packages can travel with workers going home or flying out — hand-carried. If something happens — an accident or worse — we become the bridge between your family and your employer. We stay with you for the whole contract.

  3. Deployment

Once your papers are complete, we send you off in three to four weeks. The exact date depends on flight availability. Larger groups may take a little longer to prepare. We handle all the bookings. You just wait for your flight call.

Common questions

Before you apply.

What does POEA-licensed mean?

POEA (now DMW — Department of Migrant Workers) is the Philippine government body that licenses overseas recruitment agencies. Our license number is POEA-193-LB-120922-R. You can verify it on the official DMW website. An unlicensed agency cannot legally deploy workers abroad.

Is there a fee to apply?

No upfront fee. Applicants are screened, oriented, and prepared at no cost to them. Standard government-mandated fees (medical, training certification, documentation) apply during processing. We never ask for payment to "secure a slot" — that's a sign of an illegal recruiter.

How long does deployment take?

Three to four weeks from contract signing to your flight, depending on the destination country's visa and medical clearance timelines. We give you a realistic estimate after your initial screening.

What countries do you deploy to?

Currently active: Hungary, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Hong Kong, Singapore, Qatar. We open new routes when employers and licensing line up. Tell us where you want to work and we'll be honest about what's possible.

What training do you provide?

Two affiliated centers. Mary Mei Skills Training Center (Pasay) runs an 11-module household-worker curriculum. Gold Lane International Training Skills (Tarlac) offers ten TESDA-accredited NC courses spanning trades, hospitality, agriculture, and trainer methodology. Sponsored seats available for selected applicants.

What if I have problems while deployed?

Our liaison team stays in touch after you arrive. We coordinate with employers, mediate disputes, handle emergencies, and stay reachable for the duration of your contract. In the rare case of accident or death abroad, we act as coordinator for your family back home.

I'm an employer — how do I hire?

Email us at mothers_way@yahoo.com with your role requirements, country, and approximate worker count. We respond within two business days with a deployment proposal and timeline.

Our story

Meet Mary Mei — the mother behind the way.

"A mother sends her child into the world prepared, then prays them home. We treat every applicant the same."

Mary Mei A. Victorino founded Mother's Way Overseas Manpower Specialist Corp on December 20, 2000 with a single conviction: overseas workers deserve agencies that act like family, not factories.

Twenty-five years on, she still reviews contracts personally. Sits in on pre-departure briefings. Calls families when flights land. The "mother's way" isn't a slogan — it's how she runs the floor.

Twenty-five years of placing trust.
